Reid had submerged himself into the shadows in the darker parts of the cell. True, he had calmed a good deal down due to knowing that Vivian was back. But still. Those squawking chickens were more than just annoying and cowardly. There were some that were willing to do what they wanted behind the backs of others. If it meant results or just made their day by them being able to show their twisted ways, then they would do what they wished.
Although, he wasn't exactly on the good term of the popularity list when it came to being known for results that were great. At least, when it was the chickens doing the experimenting instead of Vivian. True, his progress wasn't that great with her but at least she didn't have too much to worry about. The female could stand her ground and hold it very firmly, so it was hard for anyone to knock her down.
Despite the seemingly quiet air to the cell and the rest of the area, Reid was beyond relaxed. How could anyone or thing relax in this place? He lived here his whole life and he knew some of the things that were in store or possibly in store. Granted, he knew he didn't know everything. He couldn't understand how other experiments were able to fall asleep without needing to be tranquilized really. True Reid would fall asleep eventually but it normally took a long time for it to happen.

The incompetence was astounding, honestly how did these whimpering excuses for scientist stroll through the gates of the Asylum was beyond Julius’ comprehension. The brooding alcoholic was infinitely distressed by the lack of progression in this powerful facility; he hadn’t studied a single capable specimen in weeks, the bottle had been his company for too long. The thought that Julius was absolutely disgusted toward his elixir of life disturbed him deeply for it was a sure sign that advancement was at an all time low. He had complied multiple theories but none gravitated to existence and his last experiment went absolutely horrid when placed into the wrong hands. He’d reached a pivotal point in the sad female’s life but he examination was to be continued with someone apparently “better qualified” as his inefficient superior had put it. Now, the patient was six feet under and utterly useless to the Axium cause.
“Such idiocy.” Julius snarled, throwing his arms every direction in a dramatic tyrannical rage. It was like watching theatre instructor lecturing his dimwitted students. He needed something to observe, to study and compile with. He could feel his brain cells dissipate at the thought of having to sit through another day doing absolute shit. “Not getting anything done... just, sitting there doing absolutely nothing.” He whispered like a madman, rubbing the sides of his arms irritably before his darting irises captured sight of the cells exclusive to certain employees. Julius had not found his match, but he begged daily for the chance to find his permanent experiment. Perhaps...?
Julius couldn’t avoid taking the chance. He sauntered quietly to the entrance, eyes ablaze when noticing the beautiful prisoners awaiting in their cells. They were for him now, all for Julius to watch. The Axium scientist began to stroll his way down the row, glancing at the clipboard dangling from each cubicle. “Such novelties...” He huffed. He stopped instantly, his eyes hypnotized by a familiar word that haunted his thoughts like the plague. A wolf you say? This was it, his treasure, the defining moment of his career.
Inside the scientist mind was utter joy, however outside seemed to only display silence. His eyes were drawl and a smile did not spread. With a quick tap, Julius hoped to see the creature first before beginning his...tests.
“Fire Wolf. Answer.”

Reid's body tensed as his stronger nature took a grip over him. To death he hated that name. He hated it with a strong and untamed hatred that seemed to help fuel his rage sprees as well as his fire abilities. Standing up, Reid had his back turned to the bars of the cell.
"What?" Reid answered in a angered voice.
He had his teeth gritted as he stood there. True he was fighting snapping right at the foolish 'chicken' standing right outside his cell. It was hard to resist charbroiling him. His teeth had already turned into fangs and as he folded his arms, he already had claws at the end of his fingers.
OOC: It's fine.)

He had his teeth gritted as he stood there. True he was fighting snapping right at the foolish 'chicken' standing right outside his cell. It was hard to resist charbroiling him. His teeth had already turned into fangs and as he folded his arms, he already had claws at the end of his fingers.
Disappointing. The Axium scientist anticipated a mighty lupine creature; unfortunately all he glimpsed was an unsophisticated uninteresting male. Although Julius was aware that this specimen wasn’t human, viewing such undistinguished features disgusted him greatly; why would one choose to present themselves in a flawed form? Julius had always been enthralled by nature’s ability to create such magnificent beasts, yet its “greatest” creation sought to destroy all that was perfect in this world. Dr. Fenrir could not recall the incident which converted him to adore the wolf; perhaps it was the family name? A long forgotten memory perhaps?
The slave didn’t seem to enjoy Julius’ presence already for he was directing his body away from his view, as if shielding himself from the scientists’ curious eyes. The air stiffened between them and Julius could sense that Fire Wolf didn’t like him already. It meant nothing to him, this creature was only here for science... nothing else. The darkness clouded the danger boiling inside Fire Wolf however Julius took no heed, he wanted to observe this beast. “Turn to me Fire Wolf.” He muttered curtly tilting his head slightly, awaiting a response. Julius placed his hands slowly into the pockets of his lab coat, feet fidgeting in preparation of an assault. He was not like the other ‘chickens’ in the place, he knew what he was getting himself into...
“How long have you been in the Asylum?” He added, equally harsh in his words.

Boy this chicken was asking for it. That name. That stupid.....NAME!! Reid gritted his teeth harder but and made his hands into fists. Causing the claws to tear into the skin on his arms. The pain he could put up with, the scent of blood he could put up. What he couldn't put up with. Was this chicken and others like him. His already fur like hair had gotten longer as he stood there, ready to snap.
"Why should it matter to you? My records say how long I've been here." Reid answered, his voice dark and there was a snarl present as he spoke.
He could feel fire in his throat already, and the desire to release it was already too tempting. Course by releasing it, he would transform. Already he was close to that. The sound of the chicken tapping his feet was the last straw. Whirling around, in a fast motion. He transformed into the massive black wolf and released the fire toward the chicken. If the chicken was fast enough to move out of the way, there was a chance he wouldn't get burned too badly or not burned at all. It all depended on if the fool moved.
After the flames disappeared as quickly as they came, Reid stood there as a wolf still. Golden eyes kept their gaze on the chicken. The fool wanted a mighty lupine creature? He just got one of it's forms. The massive wolf form was only part of the show, there was another form. Another stronger form.

Julius’ jubilation swelled with every passing moment, watching this exotic creature refine before his very eyes. The murky cell made it difficult to completely revel in this moment however this alone wouldn’t destroy this beautiful moment. As the Axium employee gawked seeing Fire Wolf’s mane extend an overwhelming hunger swallowed him engulfing him with the unnatural passion to study, observe, and experiment. Perhaps this beast of nature could become his permanent specimen; he was currently possessed by Vivian Zelmik, a celebrity if you will in this insane society overwhelmed with cowards. Dr. Fenrir had never met her however she didn’t deserve such a prize as this.
As Julius pondered quietly to himself, he’d thankfully reacted fast enough to avoid massive damage. A hurling infernal orb zipped above the strange male’s head and Julius could feel the small hairs on his neck sizzle away from the immense heat. He needed to be precise with this beast; perhaps a strong introduction hadn’t been the most genius idea however Julius would add this information to his studies... and there was more to come.
“I am interested in you, that is why I ask.” Julius retorted curtly, face stoic and drawl with eyes dulled. The man was excited how this study would go and questioned how his specimen would react. “Fire Wolf, who gave you that name?” He tiptoed a fair distance away from the lupine creature in hoping that he was away from danger for now.

"The first of your fellows did." Reid answered with a snarl as he turned in a fast motion and paced behind the bars directly behind them, his golden gaze locked on him. "Even if you're interested, I highly doubt it means anything."
Perhaps this chicken was harder to scare away. Considering he was still here and still talking. Vivian surely wasn't going to like this, but she wasn't here. Why was this man so interested? Wouldn't it be easier for him to look it up? It was information available to all of this place.
"Are you interested in a new toy? A new experiment? Have fun with that, you'll have someone else tearing you apart with words instead of fangs for it." Reid told him as he came to a pause, his eyes still fixed on him.

“I want it from you.” There were certain things the written word could not clarify; the clipboard may explain what happened through simple words but inside the beast’s mind and through close examination of its emotional fluctuations would explain the situation more precisely. How long had he been here? Were there others like him. A overwhelming surge of excitement clouded his unstable mind; he needed to see inside this creature... must know how it works...
Julius guessed Fire Wolf referred to his ‘handler’, the female. Although many in this facility feared the woman’s political prowess in the Asylum, Julius took no heed to the warnings graciously offered. He wanted to explore this specimen no matter what the cost.
“I am.” Julius responded curtly. “And I have chosen you Fire Wolf. You should feel honored; you will aid in the progression on our simple species as well as strengthen me knowledge. You are a fascinating creature...”

"Twenty-nine years." Reid answered in a growl. "That's how long I've been here. In simple terms, I was born here."
This guy was weird and off his rock. There was no honor in being someone else's lab rat. How was he suppose to help a race that was clearly beyond help? Not all humans were like this but to Reid, they all were. They were all corrupted. Cold hearted snakes in a weak form.
"Honored?" Reid repeated in a snarl. "You don't even know let alone understand the meaning of that word! There is no honor to be gained from being stuck full of needles!!!!"
Reid lunged at the bars and turned into his other from. Slamming his giant fist like paws against the the bars. He was aiming to get Julius to jump, to stagger away from the cage and hopefully give up this stupid idea. A snarl left him as he turned around and walked away from the front of the cage. Still in the more werewolf looking form.
ooc: there's nothing wrong with it. It's a good post.)

Julius relished in the scorned tone buried beneath the lupine voice as he admitted his time of imprisonment. His whole life, such fascinating notes that must have been gathered! How much he has developed and improved! The thought practically made the doctor drool. All that information... the notes, the studies, the charts, the reading, the physical experiments. So delicious and enticing. Julius needed to scour Project Fire Wolf’s record so that he could conceive a full identity of this beautiful specimen.
The Axium scientist snickered at the creature’s naive response. How quaint, almost adorable really. “And what would a lab rat know of what honor truly means? You are not at liberty of telling me how my world works.” Julius retorted curtly; a small waining smirk creasing his lips, as if attempting to hide away before anyone noticed. It was rare for Dr. Fenrir to react in such a way... this experiment continued to intrigue.
Julius had anticipated the assault, for he had distanced himself enough to be out of harms way however it was still a startling wake up call from his pleasing and curious imagination. Julius observed carefully the feral response from Fire Wolf. His protruding fangs and extended claws screeched the solid plated door before he lurched away, out of sight. Julius could see the contours of his spine expand with each enraged heave, the hairs of his backs prickled like a porcupine. Pulling himself from his happy place, Julius finally spoke again. “Don’t worry. You will find purpose soon, in helping those that raised you. It is the least you can offer us yes for such kindness?” What should’ve have been sarcasm came off as clear cut fact, little teasing in his drawl tone.
ooc; finally!

"I've heard someone explain it before." Reid replied as his tail lashed about, puffing out due to the fur rising.
It would be nearly impossible to turn back at this moment. Sure he could try but right now didn't seem best to do it. Course Julius words didn't help Reid at all. Raised him? Kindness?! Oh that was a very very bad thing on Julius's end. Ears lowered as the fur on his backrose, bristling.
"KINDNESS?!!" Reid roard as he turned round really fast, baring large fangs at the scientist. "So you call killing my mother one day when I'm a child, kindness?!"
Oh Julius had certainly triggered a very enraged beast. Now even more enraged than he was earlier. A jet of fire quickly left the werewolf like creature's muzzle and aimed at the cell bars. Course, Julius had moved out of the way earlier, so the flames would most likely not reach the man.
"You people have done nothing but use me!!! YOU HAVEN'T RAISED ANYTHING!!!" Reid snapped back, slamming a large paw like hand into the ground. "All you've done, is stuck me full of needles that had done who knows what!"
This resulted in the ground clearly cracking, cracking finally due to the years of such abuse. There was a good deal of stone and concret layered there, so there was no chance of getting out through the floor. Oh no. Course that didn't stop Reid from digging his claws into the broken part of the ground, grabbing hold of some of the loser stone, and he threw it at the cell bars as well. The stone made a loud sound against the metal bars, breaking the stone into several pieces and resulting in some of the pieces to still fly toward Julius.

It seemed Julius had struck a nerve. The humanoid lupine howled a trail of flames which the Axium scientist had anticipated would happen during this curious conversation, so no harm was caused. The wall beside Dr. Fenrir was scarred with a black orb with the smell of burnt metal swirling throughout the confined space. Thank god his fellow associates did not underestimate this creatures strength because Julius would surely be silenced. “You cannot vouch for one you did not know. She just brought you into the world. We gave you a purpose. There is no point in a life if it has no purpose.” The Axium scientist’s voice grew hauntingly cold. The words could have simulated a breath of ice that chilled the bone. His drawl eyes showed no empathy for the experiment fuming in front of him.
“You are Experiment Fire Wolf and to be studied is your reason to live. Nothing more.” Julius harsh reality continued. “Accept it and your life will be much easier. You will never leave or escape. If you did, you would not last in that world. It is a disgusting, bloody, and heartless world. All that waits for you is betrayal and destruction. Stay here and you will avoid the pain of living outside this heavenly cage.” This was probably the record of most words he spoken in one day and he felt exhausted just talking so much. There was complete honesty in his tone. He despised this world he existed in. There was little for him out there. All that mattered was what Axium had to offer him and the bottle buried in his desk drawer... nothing else. And also... the wolf as well. He pondered to himself solemnly. “The only animal of this wretched planet that I consider an example of beauty and grace. Humans destroyed all that I hold dear...” He began to loose himself in his thoughts, which he quietly verbalized without realization. If Fire Wolf was to be his toy, the experiment would be quick to learn that this was one of many of Julius’ quirks.
He was so withdrawn in thought that he’d practically ignored the gigantic tantrum within the cell. His auburn eyes downcast, unaware. “Why must we humans be so... defective?!” He snarled to himself. “I must fix them... I must improve all that is faulty. Axium’s purpose is to help that human race.” He was snatched from his distracting chants when a chunk of the stone clattered inches from his foot, a few small shards raining on him. With the grace of a clown, Julius hopped dramatically away with arms flailing to the side. His dramatic and theatrical moves were unnatural as always and Dr. Fenrir shot a angered glance at Fire Wolf. No more stalling, It was time to begin.
"It is time Fire Wolf."

"I knew her for a few years, I can vouch for her just fine!" Reid snarled, metallic gold eyes glared daggeres at Julius from within the cells. "YOUR KIND HAS GIVEN ME NOTHING BUT PAIN AND A CAGE!!!"
It was true. He had known his mother for a little while, a little while in terms of a fewy years as a child. Course, that didn't matter. He knew her. She was kind. She tried to comfort him when he was in pain from the needles being injected in more than one place, and she loved him. No one here cared about him. This place brought him nothing but pain and misery. It wasn't long after his mother's death that the first change had taken hold. Course he didn't know she died straight away, she just never came back from being experimented on one day.
This man was doing nothing but brining up more and more anger in Reid. That was soemthing that was dangerous with Reid. His rage. It was a good thing his rage didn't do anything to him physically. Sure anger was never good and that was a emotion he knew best. But at least his rage didn't make him grow or anything crazy like that, you never know with some species. Course Reid didn't have anything of that sort going on with him. Rage was just something he learned early on in this place and a trait that never left him. All it did was stay with him.
"This place is disqusting, bloody, and heartless!!!" Reid snarled back. "You're not changing anything, you're just making it the same as it is outside of this place in your view. I am not your toy!! I AM NOT GRATEFUL FOR ANYTHING YOU AND THE OTHERS HAVE DONE, I HATE YOU AND EVERYONE IN THIS BUILDING!! THE OUTSIDE WORLD WILL SURELY BE BETTER THAn THIS PLACE!!"
Reid didn't care about this man, he didn't care about any of the people here that used others to their means. Sure the other experiments he felt sorry for. He did want to help them but he knew he couldn't. If he couldn't even break down his own cell door, then how was he going to be able to free the others? He wasn't going to be able to do that. Reid was barely paying attention to the man's muttering. If he was muttering then it didn't matter enough to Reid. Seeing the man do a strange doding jump from the stone, a fang filled grin took over Reid's feature. Well the man didn't like that and Reid didn't care. It was funny to see him mad and almost hit by stone. Course being called Fire Wolf didn't sit well with Reid, so taking in another breath, he shot another jet of fire at Julius.
The man would have to tranqualize Reid in order to get the large beast to pass out. Sure the scientist struggled to make a tranqualizer that worked really well on Reid considering how rageful he was and his large mass made it to where you needed more than one dart to get the desired effect.
